~Tie Fighter Reviewed by X ------------- Requirements - 386 33MHz 4Mb RAM SB, PAS, Roland Joystick 15Mb Hard drive X-wing was big, but now the theres a new rather large butt kicking lad in town. Make room in your collection for the unmissable Tie fighter. The game has been developed but X-wing veterans will tend to have strange flash backs through out the game, so my advise would be to boot up with an open mind. An added bonus to the game is the hardware requirements. The combat chamber is generally more useful in that you can learn more about the four types of craft that you will be expected to control, and this provides a far better than average gameplay. Graphics - Very nice, well designed and not too many cheesy bits considering the system requirements. Sound - Pretty good but stereo-typed to a space combat adventure, to encourage the user to fire one more blast from the lasar cannons at the enemy. Lastibility - Very good chance of the Tie box gathering dust on a shelf while the software is making you kick crap out of your Joystick, but it wont the games fault when the sequal rears its head. Overall - A Classic game that can only come second to getting the lads round, some can's and a currie while renting the Star Wars videos.
